POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Manager drives all production activities as well as managing supply chain in partnership with contact manufacturers and other external vendors. This position performs all the customary activities associated with the preparation, tracking, maintaining, and reporting of production and other areas of production related business as needed. The Production Manager may also be called upon to advise on production and supply chain data to the executive team and board members. Additionally, this position will collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure future products are able to be produced in a reliable and timely manner.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Organize and oversee production of Lazurite devices
• Maintain a well-organized understanding of production capabilities and needs
• Monitor supply chain and bring creative solutions to solving global supply chain shortages to enable production of Lazurite devices without interruption
• Work with product and engineering teams as well as external vendors to plan production of upcoming products
• Partner with internal teams and external partners to design and implement supply chain process and system solution to improve asset management operations focusing on scalability, efficiency, and when appropriate automation
• Identify and assess potential areas of risk and define mitigation plans
• Serve as primary internal point of contact for all production and supply chain related questions
• Create and update presentations suitable for presentation to the Lazurite executive team
• Advise on equipment and processes as related to production
• Analyze and report potential production shortfalls
• Assist quality team in creating, measuring, and reporting on production quality metrics


REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years’ experience managing medical device production
• Bachelor of Science or higher
• Candidate will be working from the office, hybrid role as appropriate (2-3 days in the office)
• Local and overnight travel will be required, and candidate must have and maintain a very good driving record and proper auto insurance coverage
• Business appropriate, autonomous, and frequent email/phone/in-person contact with internal team and external parties will be required

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
– Standard computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel)
– Cloud-based document sharing platforms (Dropbox)
– Business tools (Google/Outlook Calendar, Adobe Acrobat DC, Slack, Teams)


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Regularly spend long hours sitting or standing and using office equipment and computers.
